El TrekBBSo Einstellungen

Yo Leutz!
Mir ist letztens mal was aufgefallen. Wieso heißt es eigentlich DIE TrekBBS? Da hat jemand in der Führung wohl ordentlich geschlafen, denn BBS ist ja die Abkürzung für Bulletin Board System. Also müsste es richtig DAS TrekBBS heißen, denn System ist ja maskulin (männlich, liebe RTL-Zuschauer ). Okay, Die TrekBBS klingt besser, ist aber nunmal falsch.

Jetzt weiß ich endlich, was BBS heißt!

Als ich das Thema las, dachte ich schon, daß es jetzt auch ein spanisches BBS geben würde. Hab' mich schon gefreut, meine Spanisch-Kenntnisse aufpolieren zu können. Schade...

warscheinlich hat sich DIE bbs so eingebürgert (sorry) weil es hier am anfang so wenig weibliche wesen gab - so konnte man wenigsten über eine SIE reden.
aber warum sollen wir jetzt nicht dabei bleiben schließlich werden schiffe ja auch liebevoll SIE genannt - ich denke wir können diese verbundenheit von offizieren mit ihrem schiff doch auch auf UNSERE bbs überträgen

Echt? Und ich dumme dachte immer, es wäre neutrum (weder männlich, noch weiblich). Naja, hab mich wohl geirrt...

Die TREK BBS ist meine Übersetzung, und zwar, weil es besser tönt. Wer weiss, dass ich jeden züchtige, welcher die "Daily Trek" nicht in weiblicher Form pronomiert, wird meine Fixierung auf die weibliche Form bemerken - Gott weiss warum. Zum Thema männlich/weiblich habe ich aber heute von einer Kollegin eine E-Mail erhalten:

Is' saukrass. Kannte ich aber bereits. Kam vor einigen Monaten schon im PC Magazin, allerdings auf Deutsch. Ich hab mich auch halb schrottgelacht.
